Clinical Practice
A nationally certified school psychologist, Dr. Adrianna Crossing is licensed to provide psychological services to children and their families in schools and beyond. As part of their advanced clinical training toward general licensure as a psychologist, Dr. Crossing works with children in private practice under a supervising licensed clinical psychologist. In their private practice, Dr. Crossing conducts comprehensive intake evaluations to help guide treatment, which includes interviews with children and their parents, and reviews of medical and educational records as needed.
Clinically, Dr. Crossing takes an eclectic theoretical approach to psychotherapy, customizing treatment modalities and goals for each child they work with. Approaches that Dr. Crossing is trained in include, but are not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Executive Functions Coaching.
Further, founded in a strong belief that children and adolescents are complex young people with lives outside of therapy, Dr. Crossing is committed to helping children develop the skills to solve everyday problems alongside treatment for mental and behavioral health challenges.
Adolescents in particular will work toward treatment goals, but also learn how to manage complex social relationships, balance academics alongside other interests, and explore and unpack their own values as they grow and mature. At this time, Dr. Crossing is managing a small caseload with limited slots available. Further, Dr. Crossing’s services are fully private pay.
