Mission & Vision

The overall aim of my scholarship is to deepen our understanding of how systems of privilege and oppression intersect with training in health service psychology and psychological care broadly. Through approaching familiar questions in applied psychology with novel and innovative theories and methodological approaches, we hope to provide new, updated, systems-conscious evidence to inform psychological practice and research.

At present the REPAIR Lab is in collaboration with the ROADMAP Program to develop a robust mentoring and research enrichment experience for historically underrepresented undergraduate students. The pilot program will run from late June to early August, 2024. Thank you to the Accelerate the Future Foundation, William James College, and Northeastern University for their partnership and support in bringing ROADMAP to life.

Stay tuned for research updates coming soon!

ROADMAP

The Research Opportunities And Development through Mentorship in Applied Psychology (ROADMAP) undergraduate summer research program at Northeastern University aims to pave a pathway for students with underrepresented and historically marginalized identities to enter a career in applied psychology.

Through high quality mentoring, research experience, career development, and graduate school application preparation opportunities, ROADMAP participants will be better equipped with the knowledge and skills to pursue and remain on the path toward success as a researcher, clinician, and/or scientist-practitioner. Greater diversity among graduate students leads to greater diversity among faculty, researchers, and clinicians and better outcomes for diverse communities.
